"Live psychedelic instrumentation mixes with grimey east coast hip-hop on Chapter 7’s debut album, "The Color Scheme." Chapter 7 handles all production work and leaves the rhyming up to a number of indie hip-hop’s most talented mc’s including Yak Ballz, Tame One, C-Chan of Slow Suicide Stimulus, Cardboard City’s Benn Grim, J.Creddy, Sammy Doodle and Division East recording artist The Man From Somewhere Else. Melissa Seitz lends her vocals to the pop/rock influenced "Believer". Born and raised in New Jersey, Mike DeSino (aka Chapter 7 in hip-hop circles) has been making noise in the underground playing in various bands and producing for countless local acts. In 2008 he contributed four tracks to Yak Ballz critically acclaimed album "Scifentology II", including the song "New Communication" featuring Def Jux recording artist Cage. With the release of "The Color Scheme", 2009 will prove to be an even more productive year. Chapter 7 will be contributing tracks to Yak Ballz upcoming "Gas Galaxy" mixtape as well as C-Chan’s debut solo record "Sharks & Dinosaurs" out on FloSpot Records later in the year. There are a number of other projects that are in the very early stages."

Blue Sky Black Death - Rebel to the Grain/Slapbox with Jesus(2009)

1.Rebel To The Grain
2.Slapbox With Jesus

Link

“Blue Sky Black Death: Slapbox With Jesus/Rebel To The Grain Paying homage to the music that inspired them, Blue Sky Black Death have used the original source material sampled for some of the Wu-Tang Clan’s seminal recordings to create two original pieces. The first, “Slapbox With Jesus,” captures the frenetic energy of early Wu-Tang singles, layering sample upon sample to create a track that resembles a DJ mix as much as a studio production. “Rebel To The Grain” brings a distinctly downtempo element to the familiar Shaolin sound, as Kingston and Young God build huge horn and organ swells over thick drums. A must for hip-hop fans of any school.”

The Doppelgangaz - The Ghastly Duo EP (2008)

Download

"From parts unknown dwell the ghastly duo. Matter ov Fact (emcee) & EP (emcee/producer) were sent down to earth as the last two descendants of The Rap Lords. After word spread of their rugged sound, multi platinum producer Darrell “Digga” Branch quickly caught wind of the groggy pack and signed them to his Six Figga Entertainment imprint. Now the short man and height man (with no hype man) are rumored to be working tirelessly on a debut, 2012: The New Beginning, which will be released in 2009. No word has been said to confirm their whereabouts, but they are known to terrorize New York City, popping up randomly at venues to smoke mics."
