Pins and Digits is Julien's long awaited debut album, following the critical acclaim of his first release Phantom Limbo EP (2007).
Pins and Digits features guests spots from some of New Zealand's most talented musicians including Jonathan Crayford, Paul Dyne, Lewis McCallum, Jeremy Toy (Opensouls), John Bell, Isaac Aesili, Steph Brown and stand out tracks from the fresh vocal talents of Mara TK (Electric Wire Hustle) and Parks (Ladi6).
Stylistically Pins and Digits combines the big bass, brass and beats aesthetic of the Phantom Limbo EP with futuristic keyboards and synthesised sounds.

Buy
Voices of the Voiceless is the long awaited first collaboration between two of the world's most conscious recording artists, Lowkey and Immortal Technique.
Lowkey who hails from London is the fastest rising star in British urban music having racked up over 100 shows in 2009 so far as well as giving talks and lectures at political events around the world. The rapper/poet of mixed Arab and British descent has been dubbed as "one of the best lyricists in the Western Hemisphere" by Benjamin Zephaniah and has been wowing audiences as a solo artist as well as in the Indie/Hip Hop superband Mongrel (made up of members of the Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles and Reverend and the Makers) for which Lowkey is a lead vocalist.
Immortal Technique has been dominating in the independent music arena for the last 5 years with his last two albums (Revolutionary Volume 2 and Third World) selling in their 10,000s on his independent label Viper Records as well as him touring the world drawing huge crowds in all continents.
Both artists are known for their no holds barred political commentaries and supreme lyrical ability and this single is a testament to that with its eerie production a perfect match for the hauntingly poignant lyrics.

Koushik - Out My Window (Instrumentals + Bonus Beats) (2009)
Link
Koushik proposed that we release an instrumental version of his Out My Window album, where the vocals - what few tracks actually have vocals - are buried deep in the mix, less like a singer than a friendly ghost in the attic. Such a bizarre idea, how could we say no?
It's on CD with 22 tracks, 5 or 6 of which are not on Out My Window, but who's counting? Packaged in thick cardboard with tip-on cover in the style of old school LPs. Cover photo by Eric Coleman.

X*Cell-Mercenary(2009)
Link
X*Cell’s Mercenary can be best characterized as a Gate-Way Drug. Your first hit takes you somewhere new, not really knowing how to interpret what your sensing but your sensing something. By time your second hit, you’re really liking what your sensing. Your third hit, you’re loving that shit and gotta keep it going. X*Cell, Noah Syed, hailing from NY and recording out of Fort Worth, Texas has created his own genre of Hip Hop. Some time and a nice blunt sails this album right on by, the background smooths over the hazy smoke and you’ll get lost in the tune.
Shiiit, ain’t much more to say…enjoy your Ex*perience.
