Mr. Live (Fondle Em Records, Get These Records) and Earl Blaize (Anti-Pop Consortium) are the founding members of Drama Class. "Hip Hop Appreciation 101" is a concept project, meant to spotlight a number of topics inside the music and in society itself. Set in a scholastic atmosphere, The project presents HIP-HOP as an art form and touches on subjects such as…artistic knowledge and responsibility, materialism and misogyny within the music and a host of other subjects that has contributed to the perceived decline of a still vibrant genre. All of this is done in a light-hearted, entertaining manner that is done not to indict, but to create a platform for discussion." More info here

Fresh Breath Committee is a Denver, Colorado hip-hop group
driven to create substantial hip-hop music. Hip-hop is
becoming a lost art form that Fresh Breath Committee wants
to revive. Because hip-hop can change lives, hip-hop is
music with meaning, music that wants to tell a story in
order to educate others about situations that many people
face. Fresh Breath Committee wants to create music that
people can listen to and walk away with an increase in
knowledge. Fresh Breath Committee can also be called Fresh
Breath, FBC, or The Committee.
There are eight members in the group contributing to create
their first album, CPR. The eight members in the group are:
Flawless, Kontrast, Purpose, Fo Chief, Catch Lungs, Crystal,
Hi-Res and DJ Skip Ripkin. Seven of the eight members were
born in Colorado, and all eight now live in Colorado. The
eight members in the group all met at various local hip-hop
shows, though four were separately friends before becoming
involved in the group. Through creating this album, they
have come to rely on one another not only for their musical
talent, but for their friendship. That is why this hip-hop
group is powerful. They share a bond between all of them
that is fueled by respect. They each share a passion for
music and they each share an enthusiasm to create music that
is different from the norm that is being called hip-hop.
The ideology behind their debut album, CPR, is that hip-hop
is not dead, but its heartbeat is faint. Fresh Breath
Committee is here to revive the music. The Committee is here
to force life back into the hip-hop culture by putting out
an album that tells a story of their lives. They are
releasing an album with a story that listeners can relate to
and have a new aspect on their own situations that they
face. Fresh Breath is different from most hip-hop artists.
The goal of Fresh Breath is to revive hip-hop back into the
form it was created. The Committee wants to create music
that can make a difference in a persons life by giving them
an outlet, a way to sit back and listen to an energy source
that can uplift their spirits. The goal is to be heard.
Fresh Breath Committee has been touring the state of
Colorado for about a year now. It is a Denver grown group
that wants to put Colorado on the map of hip-hop so that
Colorado can be known for intelligent music with a vision.

Birth Of A Hero is an instrumental project made to display the talent behind the lyrics. There are those moments in hip hop where you are listening to a tracks and hear poor lyrics on top of a great beat. This project cuts out the artist and take that dope snare, guitar chord, and bass pattern, and amplifies it to a degree of appreciation.
This installment of the Instrumental Project showcases the talent of 10 different producers over 13 tracks the vary in style, form, and musicology. Each producer give you a glimpse of who they are through the window of BOH.
Take this, enjoy it, play it over and over, share it. Things like this aren’t meant to be hidden secrets in someone’s iTunes. They are meant to spread to everyone you know, and who they know, and so on.
Truly enjoy this, from us at FreshkutAve and every producer and supporter, to you.
