"The Fair Use Project" makes liberal use of over 150 different records to create a mix that must be heard to be understood. In words, DJ Inform took original records that have been sampled before for classic hip hop songs, reworked the samples with other samples from other classics, mixed in some classic drum breaks, scratched a lot, added some accapellas, and in general just sort of smashed everything together. "This tape "Snake Eyes Vs. Storm Shadow" was done and conceptualized in 2003 to 04. We actually had some beats from some friends and the rest were from JayLib, not the instramentals, but the actual album. We had our engineer loop the beats and wanted to send it to Stones Throw, but never heard anything. I sampled the G.I. Joe cartoons on the MPC and chopped em. I listen to this project now and can hear the purity in it. I also think it was a full plate as far as a project and something alot of folks even to this day tell me they really love and feel like was a hidden gem. Here it is in it's entirety.
