Chipchoppin Order produly presents the album "Destined To Be" by Cheek Eloheim! The album was recorded in 2008, but due to problems with mixing & mastering it took a while to get it completed! But now it's finally here and features 11 tracks of fire from the Chipchoppin High-Chief with help from the whole crew.
Cheek Eloheim is a rapper from Pennybridge, Sweden and has previously released everything from 12-inches to CD-R mixtapes to cassettes. Production comes from Chipchoppin producers Prime-Stash & Genius Enis, who brings a whole new fresh sound to the table!
The album is dedicated to fellow member Teraq, who returned to the essence a year from today (27th July), and features a track called "Phone Home" dedicated to him.

This year is going to be a good year if we travel the path we’re on now. A new talent from Bristol is coming from the Glasgow label Stuff records (from the Rustie releases Jagz The Smack and Cafe De Phresh). Slugabed (http://www.myspace.com/slugabedmusic), a 19 year old producer! We’re going to hear a lot more of this guy this year! He starts with a limited white label teaser featuring his inspirators: Rick James and Ol Dirty Bastard. Slugabed’s tracks moves like his equevalents Rustie, Joker, HudMo between styles, wonky, hip hop, abstract beats and so on. Stuff records make more big steps in the game with the hotly tipped 19 year old Slugabed crashing in with two groove juxtapositions for the dance. One side tackles the Rick James classic 'Super Freak' with odd results, plonking the vocals over a neon freak beat winding in somewhere between Jamie Vex'd style hypeR'n'B and Rustie-knacked hiphop, while the flipside zooms Ol' Dirty Bastard into a year 2030 style beatwork sounding like Flying Lotus drinking neat vodka with the Skweee crew. His tracks have already found their ways into the boxes of Various Production, Mark Pritchard, Benji B and Mary-Anne Hobbes and we expect to hear a lot more from this fella.

"This record is really the least hip-hop out of anything I've ever been involved with." That quote from Yoni Wolf about the follow-up to Why?'s Alopecia gave some fans of the art-rap act reason to pause. Such uneasiness is unwarranted though. Alopecia was also more rock-oriented and was the Anticon. crew's best. During the Alopecia sessions, Wolf and Co. recorded more songs, ten of which compromise Eskimo Snow. Though both albums were recorded during the February 2007 Minneapolis sessions, the Eskimo tracks avoid the segmented recording of Alopecia, for a more "resigned" and "open" sound. Wolf also noted that Eskimo Snow is a "bit more wild, and the drums have more room mics."

Somewhere between the past and the distant future, sparked by dusty old jazz records and beat generation hip hop, at the audio cross-roads of Detroit and Vienna, lies a series of sound stories steeping in the head of 23 year old beat navigator Paul Movahedi, also known as The Clonious. The Adroit Adventures EP is the first of those tales to exit his dome and hit wax. The EP includes a version of “Fogged Spacesuit,” available only on this release, and an exclusive Dorian Concept remix or “Emora.”
“Searching in the past always felt like looking in the future for me. The past and the future have the unknown in common, but I hope I also captured the jazz that makes it timeless,” says Movahedi.
Check the cosmic vibes on the bouncy “Fogged Spacesuit,” the ideal tune for astronauts on a spacewalk. The equally outerworldly vocalist Muhsinah sings on “One At A Time,” which swells and bumps in a soulful electronic-shoegazer style. Hailing from DC, Muhsinah is fresh off tour with Common. And since the hype of her “Daybreak 2.0.” and “The Oscillations: Sine” releases has collaborated with a resume-busting list of producers that include DJ Spinna, Flying Lotus, Nicolay & Phonte (The Foreign Exchange), Om'mas Keith and many more. The angular and mechanical “Emora” appears in steeley original mix and is also remixed courtesy of uber-hot Kindred Spirits artist, Dorian Concept, who gets glitch-happy adding a cheeky bump to the proceedings. Movahedi and Dorian Concept are long-time collaborators, they’re in the Austrian bands JSBL and Teeming Palliation alongside Cid Rim.
The beat generation scene is on fire worldwide, with artists smashing the boundaries of connections between electronic music and hip hop, taking what they know and creating something new. “With every record I have listened to I inhaled a piece of the world,” says Movahedi. “I come from a musical background that is heavily influenced by the jazz era of the late 1950s and 1960s. But a big part of my sound is sampling. Everything I record or produce eventually ends up in a sampler. As I see it the art of sampling comes close to a cloning process. So add my love for sampling with my love for old jazz records and the name The Clonious makes sense...I guess!” he adds.
