Hell yeah! If you haven't heard of the legendary Bored
Stiff, you better get studying! Since 1992 the twelve man
crew of San Franciscans have been making independent music
alongside contemporaries Living Legends, Hieroglyphics, and
many other Bay Area mainstays. During the 90's they released
two EPs (now collectible ebay items) and in 2001 they
released an album entitled 'Ghetto Research' before going on
to pursue their own successful solo projects; Equipto's
collaborations with Andre Nickatina being the most high
profile of the collective. After a nearly 6 year hiatus,
this is the album fans have been waiting for. With sampli-
fied beats, proficient scratches and feelgood rhyming, the
Stiff stay true to what earned them fans in the first place:
Making good music.
