Before materializing as an official group, the Natural Elements were originally conceived as a group of soloartists brought together in 1993 under the tutelage of producer Charlemagne. This initial grouping included members Mr. Voodoo and L-Swift along with KA, G-Blass, Howie Smalls and the InTimidator. By 1995 the unit had morphed into a straight up group including the newly-added A-Butta. When the Natural Elements line up solidified A-Butta, L-Swift and Mr. Voodoo dropped sizzling singles like "Live It Up" and "Bust Mine". 12"s, Mixtapes, appearance on the "Stretch and Bobbito Show" and the like made waves and built a strong fan base. The trio's countless appearances on the NYC freestyle and mixtape circuits culminated with a record deal on the Tommy Boy Black sub-label and the release of the single "2 Tons" in 1999. And that's where the story takes a wrong turn. 'Issues' between the group and the label exploded and expanded with the end result being a fantastic debut that was shelved - until now. After a decade of gathering dust, Natural Elements debut full length is ready for your ears. With the original masters secured and remastered, Kings Link Recordz and Kenny Diaz proudly present all the cuts that help change the NYC underground forever on Natural Elements 1999: 10 Year Anniversary.

I can't thank you, and natural elements, enough for this release.. I may have been a little behind on the 12" releases, but I still remember how much they blew my mind on Lyricists Lounge Vol.1.
