"A Tree Grows is a song that I have been slowly crafting for the past few months - probably the longest I have spent on one joint. When I began writing it, the goal was a song with hooks but I couldnt find a good stopping point between verses so it turned into one long work. After getting the verse finished, I couldnt find/make the "perfect" beat for it... Me raising the bar on me I guess.
