15 years of listening to hip hop and it seems like you need to "evolve" your taste in hip hop.

i haven't heard this beatmaker before. and if this person wants to convert fans, they should promote good beats, not some fairy ass happy dappy bullshit.

and hip hop could be "considered an art" ? since when? did this just happen recently?! like once shitty emo producers got their pallid fingers on some MPC pads, then hip hop becomes an art form?! fuck outta here with that bullshit.

dude is right, you need to learn some english and study your hip hop too. 15 years only goes back to '98. no one from the golden age would fuck with this shit.

i'll keep publishing my bad comments. you keep defending garbage. deal.

I understand what u mean and it s not false, in my country, the hip hop in 1998 was the greatest and i hate many acuel artist. And it s right i have probably not the same culture of hip hip like our even if i listen artist like KRS, WU, AG, GURU, PUBLIC and many other but do you know a man like nujabes, do u think that his sound isn t an art ? Personaly i like hip hop, i like underground hip hop but i like too hip hop which doesn t use only sampler and try to create other sounds. Create isn t the base of art ? Actually many rappers sing a "bling bling rap" and i hate that, i prefer an artist like this who try to escape the shit where we are. It s just my opinion but i m sure that i m not alone even if u have right when u say that 98 is the golden years

ok, i didnt say 98 was the golden age. i think ppl agree on 86-92 or something. bling era is some of a platinum age.
and hip hop as a genre was created with two turntables, later followed by the sampler. depending on how you use the sampler, that is creative. and creating sounds with say synthesizer is very creative and artist; and i dig it. samples and synthesis together is a sound that i enjoy very much.

there are customers and there are creators. there's music as activism and music as escapism.
if a certain demographic wants to be lead to "escape" their reality and dream of bling, that's the direction they choose to be lead. if that sounds like shepherding and fans as sheep, well whatever.

see it depends on where you're coming from that lends you the ability to understand made for a certain fan. you said you prefer that escapes the shit where we are. well, when that impoverished child dreams of bling, he is escaping the shit he is in. is it beneficial to dream solely of bling? probably not. but if he can emulate said rappers' hustle and work ethics, maybe little dude can be an entrepreneur some day and truly escape his current situation. bling as inspiration. maybe it's just the metaphorical carrot needed to spark the drive to move forward.

I M not strongh in english like u see but if i understand ur last comment, u say that rap could be an inspiration for life's of poor lil dude who could be in next time become an great entrepreneur, it s nice for him if this man work hard and got this by himself, no problem, congratulate for him. You say that hip hop begin with turntables, it s right like sugarhill or grandmaster flash and it was revolutionary and i like this sound. But you use the word "fan" and "lead as a sheep". Personaly i m fan of nobody and i follow any direction like a sheep, i respect just work of good mc. I listen activism and escapism rap, i have no preference. But i defend values like family and friends even if i know that money can be an escape on our society. But in reality how many people create a firm and how many stay on a corner or have a job just for food or have no money ? For me, Hip hop must stay truth or simply and no deal a fake dream that bro could never have... Hip hop stay street and people music anywhere u re from and bitch, fast car or big house isn t reality. That s why i hate bling music but i think that hip hop must gather and not divide
