65 million years ago: Asteroids rain down from the sky and smoke from monolithic volcanoes chokes the air. A family of particularly handsome dinosaurs, the original descendants of Bossasaurus, huddle inside a cave studio in what is now modern day California. Crammed around a primitive field recorder, they hum a tune not soon to be forgotten. The tune warns of the of the coming of the end of days: fire, brimstone and the proliferation of garbage-ass music. As the obnoxious sounds of Popasaurus echo off the outside canyon walls, lava and ash smother the earth, leaving only the Bossasaurs to give warning about the risk of history repeating itself...
*December 2008: Amidst a sea of corporate-driven recylable odes to dead presidents, pussy and popping bottles, Egon's grandfather, Clint, senses the urgency of the moment. With great care he bestows the ancient field recorder up the budding Bossasaurus. "Paint them a picture of the past and potential present. Warn them of what is coming", his grandfather urges. Although, Egon cannot paint to save his life he vows to spread this dire message.
