The Wudos Band - Wu-Tang X Budos Band (2010)
The Budos Band is a Staten Island based funk band consisting of 10 members. So, who better to mash them up with other than S.I.N.Y.’s finest, Wu-Tang. The creative work was produced by Tekst of The Higher Concept and supported by Emilio Sparks and Cloud Kicker. Tekst has produced and engineered for many of the Wu-Tang members, so naturally when you mash up The Budos Band and The Wu-Tang Clan, you form “The Budos Band.” Laced with some unique shaolin samples and featuring classic Wu-Tang verses. A nice project. Similar to Tom Curuana’s Wu-Tang & Beatles Mash Up: “Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers” mixtape.
