Support
"The natural disaster in Japan has wiped out towns, taken thousands and thousands of lives (with even more still missing) and had further knock on affects to several of the countries nuclear facilities. Japan is a calm, patient and dignified Nation and will no doubt build from this disaster, however in order to do that they will need as much help as possible.
It is with that in mind that A Bridge Too Far Recordings and The Find Magazine have teamed up to show financial support to the rescue and rehabilitation efforts that will be ongoing for the coming months if not years. Within just 72 hours they came up with this compilation, consisting of mostly unreleased music. Even some brand new material, such as the exclusive Erjee remix of Benjamin Diggins' 'Believe & Renovate' featuring Pseudo Slang and a new verse by Joe Kickass.
Other featured artists include Soul Square, Othello (of Lightheaded), Incise, Melodiq, Weedy (of 40 Winks), Teekay (of Dragon Fli Empire), Dela, Kidkanevil, LeftO and many more." - More info.
After downloading hundreds of albums by Japanese artists on this blog, now it's time to give them support back. Leeching music is fine with us, but now it's time to say thanks and to help the Japanese people in need. You can download a great compilation consisting of mainly unreleased music for only 5.99 euro (or more if you'd like), while all proceeds go directly to the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal! Win-win, right? Exactly. Support Japan.

To celebrate the release of the Night Walks album on deluxe vinyl (thanks to Denovali Records), Joe Acheson of Hidden Orchestra (Tru Thoughts Recordings) has put together this studio mixtape. Like the preceding Footsteps Mix, this carefully-sculpted selection rewards close listening, and contains numerous exclusive tracks, lots of sound design and plenty of spoken word. Catch the band live on their European tour March-April 2011, and throughout the festival season.
