Biting off J Dilla and Slum Village? What are you talking about? The instrumentals are all original and I've never listened to slum village.
Haters for no reason are "irritating as Fuck"
Lets see you empty out your pockets to give people free music.

Boooo This shit sucks!

if you don't know who slum village is than shut the fuck up. why are you commenting on something you don't know shit about.

"you know what loves is". where the fuck you think that came from.

The instrumentals are not original.
Dumb ass kids make me sick.

Sure... The producer of those amazing beats is Elaquent. You should look him up. Samples are part of hip hop. If you don't like it go back to your frooty loops nonsense. Paying tribute is a good thing. Sorry we don't meet your ridiculous standards of what "real" hip hop is. You won't see us trying to act like gangsters and talking shit. We just make music because we love it. Much love for the many people who have downloaded it. We do it for you.

I know the beats of EQ. I posted 3 albums on this blog from him already back in January and I respect his work a lot. Cutting famous quotes by producers is not a crime, that's one of the trademarks of Primo actually: look at his scratches all the time. Nevertheless the problem is not with EQ as I think he is skilled and has his style on the MPC. But c'mon: look at these ridiculous puppets trying to spit rhymes. Their style is cheap and whack beyond all doubt. Better luck next time, friends!

We have our own style and it isn't whack. I don't get what's wrong with making music fool. NO PUPPETS HERE! IDK ABOUT YOUR END! Maybe you should tone down your expectations on new groups instead of being quick to be an asshole. Besides we all know critics are failed artist who take it out on acts like us.

I liked it, It's refreshing to hear something raw.

I bet some of these dudes have a top 10 list of rappers that they listen too, and they'd only branch out to artists that associate with those 10 rappers. Anything else they hate on.

Keep doing your thing Dude.

Ok, of course do your thing! Let it be. May someone find you fresh. But not hearing about SV or Jay Dilla? Please back up your knowledge before starting up something. Yeah, many artists fall in the mistake that they claim that they're original as giving no sh___t about the ancestors. But how did you get acquainted with hip-hop anyway? If you deem yourselves true heads, please try to orientate a bit and get some knowledge who Jay Dee and Slum Village are (were) and let's discuss the rest afterwards. Thanks.

I've always known who J Dilla is. In fact I donated money to help his mom. And I've only heard a few Slum Village tracks after learning about Baatin and all.. But I don't see the comparison in JAY DEE and Slum Village. And Since I've never heard much of slum village I don't see how I would pick up their style unless by accident. In that case.. oops? Most people compare me to slug. And it makes sense because he's who introduced me into indie-hip hop. But yeah. We can't appeal to everyone. And we haven't been doing this as long as the vets. Will we still be around until we are vets? I guarantee it. Thank you everyone who has given us an ear. We promise newer and better releases to come.
