In general I love French hip-hop, however it started to fall in the beginning of this decade. I heard amazing mixtapes from Cutee B before but now I just cannot listen to it as the quality has changed into something clubbish jiggy. There are, fortunately, still some warriors carrying the torch of true hip-hop like Hocus Pocus or Explicit Samuraï but the number is getting less and less. This is why I was so happy when I heard this album. This record has a true sound, a good lyrical flow and well-chosen samples. I was surprised though, when I heard the sample of "93 til Infinity" (i.e.: Billy Cobham - "Heather")used in the track "On Mérit Mieux", but still, this record is something very good for the taste of French rap lovers, especially these days! Thanks for the good post and let good French hip-hop live!
