Various Artists-Dotgotit.com & Illcuts.com Present: The ‘88 Vs.’94 Mixtape (Mixed by DJ Grandman & DJ Elmattic)(2010)

1994 and 1988 are considered to be the two best years in hip-hop. So, in an attempt to showcase jawns from both years, and possibly compare the two, me and the good people of dotgotit.com crafted a compilation of some of the best songs of each year.
In essence, this tape was crafted with two sides, a '94 side and a '88 side, and each side provides some of the illest material released in that respective year.

I only listened to the '94 part, but I can't stop remeniscing about those days since then. Don't expect any outstanding mixing skills but it's a very dope compilation of music from those times. Cheers Snipes!

yeah Elmattic didn't really mix the 1994 side since he had only 10 tunes to work with. That was the supposed agreement but dotgotit.com cheated and let Grandman use more songs. However it didn't work in the end because Grandman "mix" is trainwreck! He just slam tracks without any sense flow or rhythm. I had to stop listening after "words i manifest"....I knew t wasn't going get any better.
