Let's save the World! Or at least America - shout Zion I and the Grouch in their new collaboration, Heroes of the Nation. The album represents a vision in which the 3 veterans of hip-hop seem capable to lead the prodigal nation of America back to its good route. There are truly deep messages and witty lyrics in the project which are not even explicit!!!! - apart from Fashawn's appearance, however those nasty words are beeped out. Zion I proved that they can be innovative on every single album they come out with. The beats are mostly heavily electronic influenced and often resemble club rhythms, but the MC'ing attempts to to maintain the balance well. If you're a fan of the ever-evolving Zion I and the teaching lyrical style of the Grouch, you will like this album, which is truly a complex one with obviously much work in it. Favourite joint: "Test Of Time" and "It's Going Down".
