Rakim is still the person to be called as the "Microphone Fiend" however these beats are unfortunately not even close to the legendary beats of "It's Been a Long Time", "New York, Ya Out There" or "When I'll Be On Da Mic". Sorry to say, but I expected much more.
You might be right, but if you remember the track "Classic" form last year, Rakim rocked the mic so fine in that one on a dope beat by Primo. And what about Q-tip? He's also 36 already and just came out with an album that is an excellent piece of work!
