My God! I always been following these dudes, Im a DITC fan to my heart, til death...but this shit just proves that time hasn't done good things to their creative music spirit. This album sounds TIRED, esepcially O.C (well he's been like this ever since Jewelz). The production is non-organic with a synth/digital sound lame...it isn't up to the standard you come to expect from 2 legends in the game... Im sad to hear this album. DISAPPOINTING!
Definitely agree wit anonymous.. should of been that old finesse and buckwild flavor on the beats or something...im mad disappointed..been disappointed wit alot of ish that has come out lately so this wasnt a total surprise
Anonymous is absolutely right. Unfortunately this album is a lack of spirit: the beats are boring (sorry but even the ones produced by Lord Finesse) and I don't even see much effort put in them, the lyrics are nothing new (nevertheless I admire the skills of both), and yes: it does sound TIRED. You cannot go touring with these tracks because the crowd is just gonna go home after the third track. This record is an unambiguous disappointment from such great legends.
