UNKN?WN, out of Columbia, SC started perfecting his craft at the age of fourteen but was inspired by all types of music many years before that. He began writing lyrics along with his cousin and a friend in a garage. With a broken down tape player and a taped up mic, they spent every chance they got freestyling and recording songs. The 3 of them formed the group Scykotikz.
In 2001, Scykotikz was invited to be in a contest for "Message In Our Music". They received a standing ovation and came in 2nd place. Later that year, they opened up for Master P and Lil' Romeo at the Township Theatre.
Their first CD "Scykosis", dropped in 2002 with 250 copies pressed and sold. They did a few shows at some clubs and resturants to promote their album. His 2nd CD, "The Militia of Emcees" was created by his label "Underground Sound Chamber Productionz" making even more noise in the streets with 1,000 copies pressed and sold.
Released in 2006, his solo album "REASON" gave UNKN?WN a chance to express his pain and hard times through his own
words. UNKN?WN spent many days and nights working on the production with his cousin/ old group member, Eternel. With 19 banging ass tracks, it's sure to be in your CD player at all times and not used as a frisby to be thrown with your pet dog.
